    5.1 Encoding

    Hi guys!
I had a dvd which was 5.1 encoded and i ripped it into my pc,encoded into xvid codec to save space as my computer dosen't has terabytes of space . But now i have lost the original dvd and nero won't let me burn that dvd in 5.1 surround sound as it only burns at 2.0 . It there any other way to encode or burn the file in 5.1. Free would be good.

    Thanks a lot

Posting in the wrong forum arent we? This software development...I think you should post in the OS and applications forum shouldnt you? Then again not an admin...and to answer your question dont know of any off the top of my head. try www.softpedia.com or www.download.com and run a search there. Good luck.
