I have java installed and it was working fine with firefox a week ago but now whenever I click on a link where it opens a new window it doesn't work. Any ideas?

... You dont need the Java RE for JavaScript to function.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

If you're only having troubles with opening new windows, all I can think of is popup blocker. Double check in case its turned itself on or something.

Firefox all the way mate as well.

Sounds like a problem with the pop-up blocker, click the link once and if nothing happens try it a couple more times (IIRC Firefrocks can tell if you actually want to open a pop up), if it doesn't just click on the popup blocker and allow popups on that site.
