hi i just got my new PC from ebuyer and they didn't send me any software with my DVD drive. does anybody know where i can get a free dvd decoder? thanks in advance.

What software are you going to use to play DVD's?.. As usually the decoder comes with the software..
A free version which I use to play it is 'Media Player Classic', then install the decoder/codec, (or visa versa..)..
I guess you have tried WMP?
..Edit:..On Google there are quite a few useful results, so worth trying.
**Also Check this out "PowerDVD 5" - £3.50! Great price, for some great software, especially if you can't find a better free version.

I use the nVidia decoders myself.
yeah i tried the nVidia ones, but to even get the free trial i need a product key and they want the last four digits of my credit card...
use vlc (www.videolan.org)
