    KDM session timeouts

Gentoo 64bit / KDM / Neoware thin clients

Really dunno where I should be looking for this one but basically when certain users leave their machine (or any machine they log into) for a long time (30+ mins), locked or otherwise, their session will just crash.

I've checked the neoware's for any timeout settings and cant see any, Im yet to see any timeout settings in KDM either,

    any ideas?

    Ta!

May 11 11:54:23 steamer kdm: 192.168.100.24:1[31953]: pam_setcred(DELETE_CRED) for username failed: Error in service module
The above appears a fair bit. Any ideas what that's all about?

sessions are expiring so kdm is dropping the connection. pam authentication is expiring so the session is being dropped. a config chance to pam - or the way the clients query kdm for login would change this

Its like if you query and X server in passive mode, leave your session alone to long you'll get the connection drop when xdm for example releases there is no traffic.
    It is Inevitable.....
