    Remote Scanning?

Is there any software other than www.remote-scan.com which will allow me to use a Canon USB scanner over a network? Don't really want to spend the $40 as I'd rather put that towards a higher quality scanner.

    Thanks

My HP scanner has an extra bit of HP software that allows scanning over a network. Havent ever tried to use it but if you are thinking of getting a new scanner might be worth checking to see if its still available if you are thinking of getting a new scanner. My one is a office rather than a home scanner.

Flibb, is your scanner an All-In-One with a network port built in, or do HP just give you the software?

Can I grab the model number of your scanner please?

    Thanks

Its an old HP scanjet 6300c, has scsi and usb. As far as I am aware it had the network share software included on the cd. Just found this bit of the hp website, you might be able to find which models work with it
