    Batch Photo Resize?

hi guys i have 500 photo's all in large format 2200 x 1600 (something like that) the pic's are well over a meg and i wanna resize them to around 800 x 600 or even 600 x 400 and send about 50 of them zipped to some friends.

I have photoshop at home, just wondering if anyone know's how i can do a batch resize?

Use Photoshop. Use the actions tab (on the little floating window alongside history) to record a new action. Then goto Menu: File->Automate->Batch. It's sometimes a bit of a bugger but works well eventually. we use it for websites where product images have to be stored in 5 sizes, just set it running and fetch coffee.

Resize them using one pass, then do a second using the "save for web" feature, gives you much better file sizes without losing too much quality (depending on settings of course).
They told me I was gullible ... and I believed them.

I use the method stytagm uses. It works well with a little tweaking

Use the picasa2 software that gmail points you to using.

Its great for resizing and basic "manipulation"of images
