one thing ive noticed a lot recently is sites checking which browser your using, WHY???

then sites started choosing stuff for you based on your browser.. WHY!!!

now they are discriminating! i expect this from micro$hite.com but not from a shop, where they are basicly telling potential buyers to **** off...

i had opera set to identify as IE6 at the time, but it seems there are other ways for the evil javascript to check now...

but, why does it matter? opera follows the standard thingy closly afaik, the renderer has a few bugs but the rest of the browser is v good...

tbh i hate javascript, and im about to disable it cos its rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishe. there are better ways to do things, javascript is the rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishe alternative that everyone uses. users should get more control on what there computers/software does, like in a browser turning off popup windows.. dont c why ppl think users dont have the right to do this.

I can understand it if they are for features only acvailable for certain browsers, but i hate the fact that i haven't been allowed into certain websites just cos i m running safari
