Windows XP and Dual Core X2

Hey

Im getting a new gaming rig and need to pay the M$ tax...
Im getting the AMD 4800 X2 (dual core) CPU...

I heard that Windows XP Home cannot support multi processing...

So is it best to go with Windows XP Pro or Home for a dual core gaming rig and why???

Are there any issues with using Dual core AMD and XP Home???

windows is licensed per-socket not per-core, as of SP1

i.e. XP Home will run on dual, quad, or 32-core processors fine, just not a 2-socket dual-cpu setup

Yeah XP home cant take more than 1 physical processor.. but can take a dual core chip... kool
