OEM Software

Bit of a strange question, but im currently setting up a laptop for a client, they buy their own equipment & software.

They purchased office 2003 basic OEM from an e-tailor for the laptop, ithas arrived, however they havent been sent an OEM version, but a HP version which clearly states for a new HP pc only.

Im sure they need to send it back to them & get an actual OEM copy, could someone clarify this?

For ease of mind send it back.

They may have requested the HP OEM version but this will need to be checked.

In order to make sure of anything read the User Agreement perfectly.

Thanks dougal, i'll get them to send it back as it states to be installed on a pc manufactured by the manufacturer stated.
