    UD / Grid servers down?

I can't seem to get any more data, and looking at the stats there don't seem to have been any returns for the last couple of days...

As per the link you posted Josh, my machine did prompt me to input my password again, but it also briefly mentioned something about registering the client in the info line at the bottom of the window - It'll be interesting to see if everyone who gets prompted in this way, ends up with duplicate devices in their manager section, that they can't delete..

Plus, the bit about de-sync'd points and CPU time for some users, and the quote "restoration may or may not be possible" sounds like it'll be a bit harsh for some!

Still at least it's back up..

I'm hoping not... But if so, then this is exactly why I kept my installs limited to one location - sure I'll get dizzy walking around the room to each machine, but at least my legs won't ache from having to trek around half the site!

Has UD/Grid always been this flakey? That's what, 7 days downtime in 2 months? Seems a bit harsh to me...

I'm not so sure - I don't pay too much attention to it really - I think this has possibly been the longest I've noticed anyway.

I hope it counts the work unit I just did - it took over 100 hours!

Just for the record: Got into work this morning, and all of the machines here needed re-registering, and have started to appear in my device manager as duplicate devices - which I won't be able to merge/delete. PITA.

Not sure whether or not they submitted the last unit they completed either - they all downloaded and started fresh ones as I re-registered.

That's a lot of crunching time they've missed out on.. D'oh!
