    Windows 64 bit

Seems all the threads with the ms download link to windows64 demo have quite randomly disapeared, and I done searches aswell!

Anyone got a the link to it? or know a mirror for it (ms servers never seem to go more than 60kb/s for me).

    thanks!

I remember why I didnt download it before, it asks for too many details, oh well, this time they got fake ones

Downloads going about 250kb/s for once

Anyone know of a guide for installing windows64, and stuff needed after updates/driver stuff/compatbility stuff?

I found it bloody useful too, sign up to the forums and you'll get lots of information and access to the download section.

Just remember though, they have ads in the middle of threads so don't go thinking its the end of the thread like...i...did. :|

Ive got xp64 running now, seemed to auto detect all of my crap and stick its own drivers on which is nice (not having to browse windows explorer at 640x480 is always nice)

It seems this demo has to be activated
and in the licences it said it was only 120 days where as the ms site said 180 days but they have changed it on their site since, they lie'eth!

A few days would be enough for most users. I mainly intalled it so I can play farcry, with the amd64 extras.

I found it good as long as you can get the drivers for all you kit.
When I had the demo on I found it more stable than XP.

I'm running it now, have been for a while, will do for a while. Hasn't crashed once. No joke. I have had no problems whatsoever.

If I chose to buy windows XP64 is there anyway to keep the current install of it? or would I need to format and start again?

You can dual boot, on the install just choose a different drive or folder and when its installed you'll get a boot menu.
