CSS issue

I'm just trying to get the background in a certain area to display without a line break being there

There's the website, if anyone knows how to get rid of that line break inbetween the bar and the background i'd be appreciative

Try border: 0 0 0 0 in your sidebar and content styles.

the margin was already set to zero in the sidebar and i tried it in the content with no luck. I had previously tried that anyway

Got it, just went into the background id and set the top margin to -5

Cool, but border and margin are different things, i know when i first learnt css (not that you are, just providing an example) it took me ages to figure out thats why i was getting a similar effect.

Yeh I know, I always usually set it via margins though, it kind of works now. For some reason it works fine in IE, but when i minimise it and open it back up a part of the lower background vanishes *shrugs*
