Samurize MicroBar Config

The recent post about Konfabulator made me look back at Samurize (www.samurize.com) which is another desktop mod application. I made a few skins for this a couple of years back but they kept moving their website and losing them so I lost interest. However, the latest version adds the ability to have dockable objects so I rattled together a quick config which I can use on my laptop easily.

The description I put up is

This is a simple config that creates a tiny bar which can be docked at the top or bottom of the screen and allows instant access to the current status of your PC and also some quick shortcuts to applications. Features

- Quick Launch bottoms on the left for commonly used applications
- Clicking on components such as drive space will open explorer
- Tiny footprint, can be left visible at all times with little impact on screen real estate.
- Currently best suited to 1024x768

This is my first attempt at using the Samurize packager so if there are any problems please let me know. If there is interest I can put together higher resolution variations as well

That looks good! It has just the kind of discreet look that will go with the rest of my desktop theme.

One question though, hope its not a dumb one. How do I use it as .sam file? I have used Samurize for a while now, but I have never come accross them.

Would it be easy to modify it to 1400 x 1050?

Nevermind! Figured it out! Just updated my version fo samurize! All makes sense now!

Ian, would you mind if I played with it a bit to make it fit better on my screen?

Feel free, the background bar I made is 1500 pixels wide so you should be able to use it. Only problem is the dividers are in the bar so you may need to mess about with it a bit to customise it

I did notice the bar was very long!
