    Problem with installing Windows xp from an .iso file.

    I downloaded a .iso file of windows xp 64 bit OS. I burned it to a cd r/w and tried to install it on another P.C . but it wont install. I dont know how to open a .iso file. kindly help.

    Hope you have the proper licence for that version of windows, else your breaking the law.

    By the way, can a 64 bit OS work on a 32 bit system ? If yes then what would be the diference?

    No. You need a 64 bit processor.

    How many 64 bit application/games are built so far that can benifit from the 64 bit architecture?

    for windows? far cry and msie.

    for linux? ut2004 and everything bar openoffice.
