winamp question...

is there a way to minimise winamp like media player does into the task bar at the bottom or similar?...
or perhaps a skin that allows such minimizing?

my annoyance is the order of the buttons.

mines:

next - stop - play/pause - previous

if only the first and last can switch :@

you can switch them round, go into the folder where the plugin-thingy is in your system (what you get at teh end of the link you gave) and double click on "Ampbar Deskband Config".a list opens up that you can select the order buttons go.
mine go:
<< [] > >> (thats rev,stop,play,fwd), and at the end I added 'w' to open up Winamp main window when i need to, like a maximize/minimuze button

use Firefox to control winamp

If ur using samurize you can download a plugin script which will allow you to control winamp and you can also make show/hide buttons which hide it from the taskbar and the system tray.

do a search for "reproduction control" in plugins - you can setup global hotkeys to control it and that's far easier (for me)
