    Websense

Well, at TAFE (kinda of a uni thing) they use websense to block out our internet, now, i was wondering if it were possible to get past it in any way?

I have used CGI proxys but its getting harder to find one that hasnt been blocked!!

So, any ideas on how to access sites from their machines?

Well websense does go OTT slightly, but all the blocks are ones which parents and administrators have decided to be not suitable.

Its normally installed on the local servers, at least it was at our school, so they are hard to get around.

    In plain english, this means???

And Moby-Dick, I dont think i have to worry about being kicked off hte network, we play CS 1.6 with the teacher sitting there cheering us on, they jsut dont allow us access to any sites on the net there :-\

Usually, I use google translator, but it doesnt allow you to log into a page..

As long as your admin has allowed secure connections you can use www.ultrareach.com or it's mirror www.wujie.net, although in my experience it doesn't take long for a decent admin to poke around and notice inflated secure traffic stats and repoint the sites.
