    presumably it needs write access to the virus'd file. which means "no" if scanning ntfs filesystems or if not root.

    used it the past (for dumb friends and famliy) it does remove viruses; windows version though, on ntfs... as directhex says, will need root on linux...

    lol, thats priceless.. Installing that garbage on a linux box would only cause harm.. And I can't see the point tbh, considering it'll be scanning tens of thousands of win32 virus patterns on a platform that only has a handful of defunct virii.
