ntfsresize. included with any modern linux distro

linux may not be able to write to ntfs, but it can resize fairly safely

    Done

I used knoppix live cd after trying SystemRescueCD (which like most linux distros, is unable to use USB input devices.

Why must linux have no support for USB input? WHY?

I suppose the question is why must linux disable BIOS USB input device support... works fine untill you boot any 2.4/2.6 kernel.... (except knoppix or debian)

it's a question of the hardware detection mechanism used by the distro in question. it's not hard for something to load "usbhid" as well as "atkbd", but exposure to red hat has taught me that complete stupidity amongst distributions is all too common

be happy ps/2 works - when attempting to install slackware, it determined that both ps2 and usb keyboards were an unneccessary inconvenience, and unloaded drivers for both
