    Prog to shutdown windows?

A friend of mine is on f2s and has the 2gig package, so needs to download between the hours of 1 to 6, does anyone know of a windows program that she could use to turn of the computer every morning at 6am?

Open Notepad and put in the single line:
    shutdown /s /t 30
Save this as "shut30.cmd" (include the quotes! you do not want .txt on the end) in the folder \windows\system32

Add a Scheduled Task using the control panel applet to run "shut30.cmd" by browsing to the folder you saved it in, set it to run daily at 06:00 with a daily repeat, provide the name and password for a user with administrative rights.

At 6am every day the machine should now give a 30-second countdown before shutting down Windows, and you should get an event in the system event log.
