If your wanting to use PHP i assume youll be using a MYSQL database.
Who is this 'system' going to be used by?

yeah i will be using a mySQL for this if its online.
This 'system' will be used by a few users who will each have their own accounts.
i have a data dictionary full of the stuff i have already planned out if you wish to look at that?
Have you designed the schema? That's probably the most important place to start...

ASP, ColdFusion, JSP, Perl etc are all possible languages. If you're using a MySQL databse then stick with PHP as it's the most common partnership
yeah php is pritty easy to use for something of this nature
