I keep getting a 'test your iq' one all the time now :/ but it is only that one.

Firefox 1.5 Beta doesn't get any, although it isn't quite as stable as 1.0.x
yea i bin getting that test ip crap on my firefox. very annoying
I have also been getting rather annoying pop-ups, and am on the lookout for an extension to stop/reduce them. So if anyone comes across one, a link would be much appreciated!..
I do have Adblock, but it generally is good for banner ads, and not so good for pop-up windows..
I've got quite an extensive AdBlock lists and that stops pretty much everything now
Internet Explorer 7 beta seems more stable than 6, and has a great pop up blocker...
Just putting the idea out there.....
New Sig on the Way...
i've used every version of ff and I've never had a popup. Use 1.5 beta now that more extensions are out there for it.

i am using 1.5 at the moment and although popups are rare they still happen, i get the iq one quite a bit. The flash ones are the real annoyances though
I'm also using 1.5 not had any excessive popups just the odd one.
Adblock is 5th in the list on the mozilla website - there's also a plugin for updating the filterset it uses

I initially replaced iexplore.exe with an empty file (you have to remove the system flag before the exchange and put it back on the new file afterwards). But I later found that certain things I do still require IE and won't work properly with Firefox alone.
On the subject of it getting worse, I've had my plain explorer windows hijacked to display web content before.
i get very few popups on FF, and the advanced tab control plugin (or whatever its called) grabs half of them and turns them into new tabs
