At work, I use ACad 2000 LT.
On my previous laptop running Windows 2000 Pro, when I wanted to open a file via File -> Open, the "Select File" dialogue box appears, with the files and directories listed.
Now I've upgraded to XP, I keep on getting an icon list. If I go to Views and select details (Which is what I always want), change directory, it goes back to frikkin icon view.
I've had a look on Autodesk's website. this is the closest to what I'm experiencing, yet it seems to be an OS thing. And I wouldn't mind if it was a list view as they claim it is. But it isn't! It's the icon view which is the most unhelpful view possible.
It's doing my head in![]()

Any ideas? please!
