    Visual Harddrive useage

    hey, i had a look through here and cant find it for the life of me, and dont have a clue what to search for looking for it, but theres a program that shows you how/whats taking up the space on your hard drvies and i cant remember the name, does anyone know?


    would make a good addition to the software list if anyone knows it

    I use a program called TreeSize Free..

    ooh, might give that a go, the one i used to use showed the whole drive in big block like things, and showed what types of files they were, finding it hard to describe :s

    I use a very nice program called Sequoiaview: once you remember the clours for the different file types you can see at a glance where things are and what sort of files they're made up of (it's done in folder order). I've taken a screenshot on one of my drives: that's 75GB broken down right there (the green is mp3)
