Question Which Codec Pack? Divx/Xvid/3ivX ???

What pack should i use so i can play Divx/Xvid/3ivX ? like an all-in-one pack... for example the klite codec pack? as i would prefer not to install 1 for each codec...
    cheers

I use K-Lite, and the Quicktime/Real Alternative codec packages. You can get those 3 combined in 1 pack via www.free-codecs.com, as well as them seperately. I'd suggest you get K-Lite Codec Pack on its own though, as the mega pack described above isn't updated with the 3 parts as often

I find apart from quicktime *.movs - 90% of clips/movies are in *.avi format of which the majority will be xvid/divx or the up and coming 3ivx.

Just install an AC3 Codec, the xvid codec (which plays both divx/xvid - with no BS 'extra' software) and 3ivx.

Ive found that codec packs can cause problems on certain configs (depending on whats installed before you install them etc).

Just an opinion - before the flames start

Media Player Classic is great; it basically mimmics the basic look of WMP 6.4, but with full DirectShow functionality. Its playlist is basic, but still, good.
