freeware CAD software

does anyone know of any freeware CAD design programs please. I need one for my a level design.

Pro desktop - its not free but if your school uses it, and lots seem to they are allowed to give you a free copy

We use that software in school.... And its buggy as hell. We've had to revert to an old 2000 edition, because the new version 8 comes up with an error when you try to perform certain key task

I also have tat software in college but its rubish and i cant take it home
