    Good firewall that wont interfere with any online gaming....

    I dont want the windows one, so need some recommendations for a good firewall that wont interfere with gaming and download speeds. Ive tried sygate in teh past, but thats about it.

    All firewalls will interfere, thats their job, thats what they do. They intefere with stuff in order to stop things happening. Any firewall that doesn't is going to be useless, so just spend a few hours when you get it setting it up, be prepared to have to clear the odd game or port/range occasinoally.

    I'd say if you can get a smoothwall, basicly you use a very simple basic spare parts computer with this modified linux install on it(smoothwall) as a firewall/NAT. It's effectively a hardware firewall for a tiny price, worth looking into.
