    Help fix my new site

Hey guys, yet again more website issues.

Recently I incorporated my old website onto WordPress, yes, I finally got the hang of it and I'm liking it a lot. Now, I'm still working on it a lot and there are many issues to fix. The main one which I want to get sorted is the footer at the moment, but there are many more issues.

    linky

Yes, it's named index1 as I don't want to actually make it live just yet so any links you click on will re-direct you back to index. To sort this just put index1.php?variableshere

Mainly there are issues in IE. The drop-shadow isn't working correctly. I'm also working on the nav bar, I haven't worked on it at all so it's difficult to see the text

Anything else that needs to be sorted?

    Cheers

Ooooer - not valid XHTML? (because it isn't finished yet?)

What's wrong with the footer? Seems to work fine to me...

I would change the layout of the page slightly i.e. less whitespace at the sides/not fixed width and a smaller image at the top (to save both space and bandwidth), but that's more of a personal opinion.

    So far, looking good!

Yeh I want to make it variable width but it's pretty hard to implement. This is version 0.1 so far anyway The footer is screwed in IE

Not valid because it isn't finished yes. It really isn't anywhere near finished in fact.

You could change the wrapper and container to 100% width. For a background at the top, you could have a banner that has a gradient that fades to the colour of the background, or you could just have an image repeating the in the x direction, with the banner div containing the logo.

Well I know how I can change the header to make it fit, that's ok, I may have a play in a minute and make a new theme

Anyone else know why it's not working correctly in IE? Seems the whole repeated drop-shadow background is not placed correctly

    I know, I'm posting a lot.

    3 more issues

    All issues in IE.

Both header and nav bar have been shifted left, not sure why.
The headers in the nav bar are indented
The footer is not in place

If anyone has any idea I'd be very appreciative

EDIT: I've moved it to http://www.kieransenior.co.uk/ so it's viewable and links should be working.
