Thumbs up Faster Tech net searching....

A while ago I posted a thread about technet getting worse for searching - Finding irrelevant articles or nothing at all.

Didn't realise it but I had the answer in front of me all the time - The Google toolbar! (or even google itself!)

    Search for

    "subject" site:Microsoft.com

And away it goes, searching for your "subject" only on the microsoft site! Damn site faster too!

    Hurrah! No more grey hairs!

yeah it's the same with hp's site, you do a serch on hp, and find nothing , however if you use Google to search hp then you find what you want!!! It's rediculous! Google does a better job, than the company that actually owns the site!!!
