    Reading text file in access

    Hi all,

I have a field in access which I want to be filled by a text file. The database should read whats in a specified text file, store in in this field and save it there.

How can I go about doing this, is it possible?

    Regards,

    Basher

Thanks but they all seem to be concerned with some more advanced stuff or just direct import via the import external data functions.

All i want is for access to paste the contents of a text file into a field when opened, can't seem to find much code relevant.
