    CSS centering explanation?

I'm trying to get my website to center the content (both vertically and horizontally...like the Couture Baby London website www.couturebabylondon.com) but using CSS.

Trouble is that I've got absolute positioning for several graphical elements, so if I give a div tag an align attribute of center, all the graphics are all over the place.

What's the best way to locate all your content in the center of the page?

You'd need relative positioning from the div that would contain it to achieve that. I have to ask why you need absolute positioning, looking at a couple of the pages there's nothing that sticks out as needing it, as long as they are relative to the parent they should work

Ah, sorry, should have explained a little better. That Couture Baby London site is done with tables. Lots and lots of tables. I'm just trying to replicate the whole central positioning thing without relying upon them. Relative positioning you say? I'll see if I can get it working.

    Cheers
