Hey guys

Got a new laptop, and whenever I hit backspace, it takes like a few seconds to register, and delete the characters, other than just instantly? Any suggestions?

brand new laptop or new to you? - how old is the laptop? - is it a clean install? which OS?
does everything work fine?
what are the laptop specs?
does the same thing happen in notepad?
have you rebooted?
