    Microsoft Photo Editor Replacement?

    colleagues running windows 2000 often have problems with MPE, is there a good, free replacement?

    I recommend the above, however I find the GIMP sometimes difficult to use although so powerful. I like photofiltre, it is nice and simple and do some simple image edting.

    I don't know if this will help you use GIMP or not, but there was a post on Slashdot a while back with a branch of GIMP that was being latered to look and feel more like PhotoShop.

    This may, however, not survived Adobe's lawyers.

    office 2k3 (or something) comes with some other tool, its not actually as good imo, but it does a similar job
