I recommend the above, however I find the GIMP sometimes difficult to use although so powerful. I like photofiltre, it is nice and simple and do some simple image edting.Originally Posted by BUFF
I don't know if this will help you use GIMP or not, but there was a post on Slashdot a while back with a branch of GIMP that was being latered to look and feel more like PhotoShop.

office 2k3 (or something) comes with some other tool, its not actually as good imo, but it does a similar job
