Windows Search not Working

Hi,

I tried to search for a file using windows search, and it came up with no results - fair enough. Perhaps i'd deleted the file, but no I stumbled across it a few minutes later and then tried to search for another file that I knew existed but no results again.

I've no idea why Search has decided not to work and no idea how to fix it,

any help much appreciated.

Update - reverted to Classic Windows search and the outcome is the same
