PVR / MCE / PC Tellyboxthing experts please...

    Hokay, so...

I have an Xbox 360 now, and now would like to have TV recording abilities on my PC...
There is Telewest in my house so I am thinking of paying the monthly fee for another set top box to go into my room, and have it directly connected to the PC.

What would be the best card to go into the PC to do this? I used to have an old PCI TV card but it was positively crap and the resolution was somehing like 640x480.

Also i'd like to be able to connect my Xbox 360, either by VGA cable or otherwise, as running through a TFT (As I have seen) looks so much better than through a TV.

So, what do I need to buy?

    This? http://scan.co.uk/Products/ProductIn...oductID=150990

    Or a better one?

Help me out here people Money burning a hole in my pocket!

That will work, but if you want freeview, I'd recommend the Compro Videomate T200 or T300. Mine works very well with MCE2005.

The only note is don't use latest software from Compro's website. They've completly ruined the software with all their 'improvements'. Stick to what you get on the CD.

I don't know how you could connect the Xbox to the PC through any kind of high-def connection. You can use the composite plugs on the TV cards, but they don't give fantastic results.
