Windows Server 2003 120 day trial

OK - here's my situation. I have a box sat at home running Windows Server 2003 as a gateway and DC. It's all setup exactly how I want it, and it's a 120day trial. It's not due to expire just yet, but as it's setup exactly how I want it, and it holds all my AD etc etc etc I'd rather "upgrade" to a proper retail version - anyone know if this is possible? Obvioulsy I can try it when I get home (after making sure to take a full backup...) but I'm bored at work and got to thinking about it. Sooooooooo can anyone give me a definitive answer?

how much data is on it ?
you might be able to "upgrade" it in place , but I'm not 100% convinced. The Eval versions are not like a shareware eval versino where you activate and continue on. You may be able to rebuild a box and do a system state resotre ( depending on what you keep on it )

Not too much actual data on the box (other than the AD database, which should be tiny). I think I'll take an image of it then try the upgrade and see what happens, if that fails I'll, erm, well I'll wing it

if its the AD stuff , then a system state backup should be what you need.

if you are bored , have a research on rebuilding a machine from a system state backup
