    Printing in SunSystem's Accounts

Does anyone have any experience with printing to a PCL Konica from the accounts package from SunSystems?

    Cheers

We just had a PCL card installed today because SUN would not print to the Konica without it. The engineer fitted the card today, we can print from Windows (Office etc), print from DOS (eventually after working out the LPR syntax !) but not from SUN
SUN demands you create an environment variable and a print queue name, which then allows you to create the printer in SUN, but there are so many PARMS.
We asked a user to send a print, but there was nothing, no error messages even.

    Cheers

Creating the LPR print queue name is done form the printers property pages , go to the ports tab and configure the port its using. If you switch it from RAW to LPR , there is a bit where you can define a Queue name for it.

its not much , but its a start

Resolved, it was the Active Directory Group - didn't have the group set up on the Application Server included.

Only problem now is too large a font
