    Email delay

Can you set a send delay in outlook, the boss here has a habit of sending replys instead of fwd'ing things to other people...

you can set a "do not deliver before" date with exchange - what I also do is set it to spell check before I send - that usually gives me another chance to remeber if Ineed to send it !

All too often, I send an email and regret it a moment later.

Maybe I bumped into Send before I was ready. Maybe I wrote something mean & nasty, and want to rephrase to something more constructive. Maybe I think of a better way to make my point.

With these steps, Outlook will keep my message in the Outbox for a few minutes. When I change my mind, I can go there and modify the message.

    Tools.Rules and Alerts

    New Rule

    Start from a Blank Rule
    Check Messages before Sending
    Next

    (don't check any conditions)
    Next
    Yes, apply to every rule

Check "defer delivery by a number of minutes" (the last checkbox)
    Click on "a number of".
    3
    OK
    Next

    (don't check any exceptions)
    Next

    Supply name if you like.
    Finish
Is this the sort of thing you're looking for?
