how crap? why this wasnt included in wm5 as standard ill never know, but anyway...

anyone got any handy links detailing which wm5 units work with push email?

we have a couple of wm5 units, specifically the sp5m and mio a201... now the a201, i have setup, but the sp5m... what a royal pain in the spectrum.

the push email is from the server though ? as link as the y support activsync over grps I'd have thought it wouldn't make a difference.

push mail via SMS doesn't occur any more after Exchange 2003 SP2 - it uses a long running HTTPS connection - make sure you adjust your timeouts accordingly.

well the A201 needed a firmware flash... to include MSFP, which apparently the sp5m needs which is apparently not available yet...

that said and done, the a201 is now working fine with a gprs connection.
