    OLK folders

So, in Outlook there are clever folders called OLKnnD where email attachments are held while you open them and decide what to do with them.
I have a user who claims they have only just appeared - any ideas how that might have happened?
The only thing I can point to having changed is that another member of staff has logged on to her PC (but with the original userid).

    Cheers

Tell the user to <bleep> off and its that they've only just noticed them, not that they have only just appeared.

Is that like "hello IT support, have you tried turning it on and off again?"

As for only just appeared can't you simply check the creation date of the files ?

Creation Date, yeah that's true it would report when the file was created, but I think what she is trying to tell me is that the folder view with the old attachments is something she hadn't see before.
If I empty the folders she'll be happy. (hope)

So many of my users spend hours fiddling with some obscure feature of whatever and then scream when it doesn't look right.
Most recent was a shared folder, a user reported that a certain folder was not 'on her computer' so I checked the AD group she was in, checked permissions etc - no issues. Went to her desk, and the shortcut she had set up was not pointing to the correct network drive!
But for half a day my life was a miserey with her constant moaning, 'I can't see the folder' 'What have you done?' 'All I do is click S:\' - it was another drive mapping completely btw....
And do they thank me when I sort it, hell no.....
