Merging multiple CD ISOs onto a DVD

I have a lot of stuff which comes on several CDs and I was wondering if
it is possible to write multiple isos onto one DVD.

Will it still be able to work when it asks for disk 2 etc?

Can you write multiple ISOs of different things on the one DVD and make it still
    work?

Is there any specfic way of doing this (terminology please so i can google it) or
    program that is required?

Anyone ever had a go at doing it?

If its games, then prob the easiest way is to just copy all the discs to the hdd, then burn to a dvd, usually the installer wont prompt for the next disc if it can find everything on the one its running from. However, you will need to use the original disc for playing the game if it checks authenticity

I put multiple iso images onto dvds just as they are, then mount each one as needed. It should work fine when asking for the next disk - you just unmount disk 1 then mount disk 2.

As herulach says though, you'll need original game cds for cd checks.
