    Windows XP Problem

    I'm an XP Home user. I am the only user on my PC and have only got the one profile on my computer. My computer has always booted straight onto the windows desktop and always shut down normally. All of a sudden when booting up my PC holds on the blue screen where you can choose users if you had multiple users.
    I've gone into the user accounts part in control panel and changed the options in there but it still does it. What most annoying is i didn't do anything to warrant the change in the first place i can only assume its happened with an automatic update.
    How do i fix this?
    AMD Athlon XP 3200+(Coolermaster Aero 7+)
    ABIT NF7 - S Ver 2
    1024mb Crucial DDR3200
    Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro 128(Arctic Cooling VGA)
    2 x Seagate Barracuda 80 GIG HD
    Samsung Lightscribe SH - S183L DVD Writer
    Silent X PSU
    Windows XP SP 2

    Get the TweakUI powertoy from Microsoft and re-enable auto-logon. That should fix it.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    No i can't see an auto login option in the program. Although i have had some fun after stupidly stopping my user from logging in. Had to start in safe mode to create a new user to do a system restore hehe.
    Any other options. And why has this happened without me telling it to

    You installed the .NET runtime. A patch to .NET or upgrade to 2.0 should fix it.
    To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
