    Mac OS X

Right, our Mac here is being replaced, so, I've setup a share on the network for the girl in the design department to shift things over too, as the move is greyed out the stuff has been copied and then dropped into the recycle bin when its been copied.

Normally not a problem you would think, until you hit a file deep into a folder structure that needs renaming, so, you rename that file and then drop the folder back over the top so it copys the folder tree and the file, yes...

No, the Mac deletes the existing folder and then copys over the folder/file, so you loose whatever was in the folder it deletes, now I'm sorry but that is a reaaaaly crap idea..
If I get the stuff out of the Recycle folder will it recreate the tree/file structure and put the file back where it was or will it go and delete everything in its way to put 1 file back in the middle of what will become nowhere...

As if having one mouse button wasnt enough....

Anger who, people who actually think an OS that deletes a folder and then copies another version instead of putting the 2 folders together is a good idea, tbh I'm not likely to be scared of people like that am I....

you will be *yoda voice* you will be.

you should always be scared of people who are emotional, and not rational.

but like i say, use unix command line commands, it's not been messed up quite so much. Also you could use the likes of "Midnight Commander" too.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
