    SAGE Accounts

Does anyone have any experience of implementing SAGE?
I want to find out about the integration process with ERP systems, and how easy/painful it was.

    Cheers

I have some good experiance in sage, but not erp systems, sorry, should have seen this thread quicker.

I know with some work you can get other programs to access sage data. Though its hard work apparently. I know some programming companies have licences with sage that allow them to write applications that intergrate with sage data.

But thats about all I know. I just use sage and know my company is working on having an application refer to sage data for use in the future.

Oh, I do however export data from sage all the time, and the reports to csv is brilliant, but far from ideal.

You can create an ODBC connection to Sage databases - I've seen them queried with Access *shudder*

Oh thats cool, you can create a ODBC data source in access that is to Sage Line 50 v9. Never knew that... Probably not best to mess around with that on live accounts data though. Useful to know, seems easy enough.
