    Dvd-r + Ps2

Does anyone have any idea how to make a movie I burn to a DVD play in a PS2?

I burned it and it plays fine in the DVD player through the house, but I put it in the PS2 and it spins up a bit and then just stops

    Anyone any ideas?

    Cheers,
    David

Non of the DVDs i burn have ever played in a PS2.
    - I made backups of about 50 films, to watch in the common room at collage duing 6th from, but they wouldnt play.
    - In the end i got a £30 Ronin DVDplayer off SVP/Blankdiskshop and used that, great little player, still use it a lot.

i had exacltly the same problem - it was SO much easier to just buy a cheap DVD player and SCART box (only 1 SCART out ) and use that

I don't think a standard (ie. unchipped) PS2 will play back-ups of any kind, only originals.
