Ok, when you open nero choose from the left hand bar, to create an SVCD. you then simply drag and drop the files, click burn, and bob's your uncle.

    Sweet

How do I chop the mpeg into 2 sections? or will nero know that it wont fit on 1 cd and do it for me?

I'm not too sure, give it a go with nero otherwise you will need a special bit of software, can't think of the name of one at the mo though tbh

    erm

a 750mb mpeg will fit on a 700mb cd fine, no overburn or anything

svcd looses error correction data, allowing for bigger files

You can use tmpgenc to cut mpegs in 2.

As Hex said, a 750mb mpeg should fit on 1 cd, its the Mpeg4 ones where you need 2 cd's for SVCD.
