    My Webiste

    Using this summer to complete my website (since last year :O) and i think i just reached 50% though completing it some constructive criticsm, comments and suggestions would be helpful. Also, can you suggest some cool, trendy and bright colours i can use as backgrounds?

    Thank you

    Careful with the orange text, can make normal text look like a link. Also, I wouldn't recommend changing colour for each page, especially when the colours are so bright - it is a little jarring.

    Also, there are a few validation errors. Not much, so probably trivial to fix. The first few errors are probably from using XHTML syntax in an HTML document i.e.

    Code:
    <link href="greybox/greybox.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" />
    Should be:

    Code:
    <link href="greybox/greybox.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all">
    "Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."

    As you appear to be hosting it locally you may be better off getting a 3rd party host as then the site wont go offline when you shutdown your computer - like now
