Just to point something else out, RM files are actually not media at all, they are just a shortcut to a sort of semi-encrypted link so it will only stream the video, where as RAM files are the actual media video files.

Yep, apparently so, interesting (well kind of):
"A "Ram" file is a small metafile ending with the .ram extension that is used to point to one or more .ra or .rm files. When the .ram file is accessed by the user, RealPlayer will play the media file referenced in the .ram file. If more that one file is referenced in the .ram file, they will be played one after the other in the order in which they appear in the file.
If your media files end with the .rm extension, the entries in your .ram file should be in the following form:
rtsp://[machinename].siteprotect.com:1554/[domainname]/[filename].rm
To find your machine name, connect to your Web server via SSH. A command prompt such as "haydn:~$" displays. In this example, "haydn" is your machine name.
You do not have to use a .ram file in order to deliver RealAudio or RealVideo files. You can instead reference the media files directly. However, when you do this the users will see the full path to the file in their browser window. Reference
"Keyboard missing - press F3 to continue" Message seen on an Apricot PC.
"To start press any key. Where's the any key?" Homer Simpson.
