i want to extrat the auidofrom a dvd

    Hi

i want to extract the auido from a dvd. I want to make this easy. something like taking the music from the dvd and encoding it to MP3 then ripping it to cd.

any ideas how to do it?

    thanks in advance

I would guess this is something you legally own the copyright to?

I am assuming you mean the audio from a DVD-Video, not a DVD-Audio. First, why would you want to transcode the audio (which is probably lossy AC3), to MP3 (which is also lossy) then to a CD? You should skip the MP3 step.

You need DVD Decrypter, you will have to google for it because it is not officially available any more. Load the DVD in DVD decrypter and rip it to an ISO image on your hdd. This will remove the encryption. Then you need DVD Audio Extractor (google it). Mount the ISO in Daemon tools, load the ISO into DVD Audio Extractor and extract the audio as a PCM WAV. Now you can burn it to a CD. Note that there won't be tracks on the CD unless you make a Cue sheet.
