    Dictaition software - which is best

    OK my grandad ( ) has decided he would like to be able to dictate letters to his computer.

    So to help he out i thought i would find him a good one (so he doesnt waste time with rubbish)

    -so which is the best to get/and advice pls

    -i heard the dragons "natualy speaking" is gud?

    Office Xp has it built in and is quite good.

    really !!!- made by MS and good??? - nah!!

    - only thing his he' s running 98se

    - and im not sure his machine whould run XP very well
    - and i dont what to spend a week making it!

    if his pc won't run XP very well, I doubt he will get good results from any package. we used to use dragon dictate v6 at work and basically had to upgrade all the pc's we installed it on to 256 or 384 MB memory, and these were running win 98 too.

    yeah well - it isnt that bad - i guess it would run Xp but still

    - so any way, if i get him to buy Dragon's naturaly speaking 7 - that will be ok - yes??

    How can we comment if we don't have it, i'd say that its probably the package i know most from the earlier versions but i've never used 7.

    But you have to factor in whatever you get it might not work as well as you or you grandad would like.
