    Keeping Windows Media Player minimized?

I use Windows Media Player to listen to my music collection, and I like having it minized to the toolbar.
However, I'd like for it not to be restored each time I load a new file. Is it possible to keep Windows Media Player minimized to the toolbar?

move your mouse to the taskbar at the bottom.

Right Click - select toolbars and then Media Player

Volia - you should have the icons there to control it when minimised and it should not change when changing mp3

When I right click on the taskbar and choose toolbars, 'Windows Media Player' is already checked.

When I use WMP, minimizing it sends it to the toolbar in it's mini form and I do have the basic controls, stop, skip track etc. But when I load a new file, WMP is restored again. doh!

press the little down arrow to the right of the windows logo, you should then get a control list.

If the function you want isn't there then no I don't know of a way...
